Auto Submission May Cause more Harm then Good

Firstly, there are no 1000's or 10,000 or 30,000 legitimate search engines or directories. Of those thousands of auto search engines submission, Over 75% of those auto submission will be submitted to FFA ( Free For All ) websites, link farms and to unrelated sites. At best, there are only a few hundred search engines and directories that are worth while for submission.

FFA sites are purely designed for building traffic and basically will accept all types of content and your inclusion is only temporary. Most FAA sites have no relavencies what so ever to your website's theme and will need to be resubmitted ona regular bases for inclusion. The downfall in submitting to FAA sites is that major search engines like Google have classified FAA sites and link farms sites as spam sites and will penalized any website that have any attachment to FAA and link farms with a permanant ban.

Automated submission also submit your url to over hundreds to thousands of search engines in about 20 minutes or less. This 20 minutes or less mass submission is at risk of being considered as spams by some major search engines. Furthermore, most auto submitter focus on search engine submission with lots of low PR sites, unrelated sites and less focus on directories submission. Submitting to unrelated site will normally be deleted from the site. Aside from the major search engines, alot of other legitimate and high valued search engines and directories requires password or login confirmation for inclusion and with auto submission, this is impossible and can not be done. As a result, your website could be black listed.

In summary, not only auto submssion have low inclusion rate, auto submission is also risky and not a 100% reliable method of search engine and directories submission.
